US Senator Leahy visits COV beneficiaries
US Senator Leahy recently traveled to Vietnam and met with some families receiving support from COV. According to COV Country Director, Ms. Huong, "We were honored by the Senator's visit with the family! The Senator was clearly interested in the boys' care! Hope System of Care for Children with Disabilities
Kiwanis Help Thousands of Rural Children Stay Healthy
Kiwanis International and local Twin City Kiwanis Club in Winston-Salem, NC demonstrates their mission to "the children of the world, one child, one community at a time" by supporting COV's Parasite Prevention Program. Over 25,000 rural children in Hoa Vang district of Danang city receive twice yearly treatments keeping them healthy, growing, and attending school.
Dr. Dannia Sutherland Memorial Fund
In honor of Dr. Dannia Southerland who passed away February 9, 2012, the DR. DANNIA SOUTHERLAND MEMORIAL FUND has been established to celebrate the many contributions she made to improving the quality of care provided to children and youth with disabilities in Vietnam. Contributions made to Children of Vietnam in honor or memory of Dannia will be used to help children and youth with disabilities lacking resources and access to life-improving care.
