Ronald E. Berenbeim

Board Member

Ronald E. Berenbeim joined the Board of Directors of Children of Vietnam in 2025, bringing with him a lifelong commitment to ethical leadership, education, and social justice. With a distinguished career at the intersection of business ethics, corporate responsibility, and global development, Ronald offers a unique and deeply value-driven perspective to the organization’s mission.

He served for 33 years in various capacities at The Conference Board, a research and programming organization for global organizations, businesses, and NGOs. He was also a Co-facilitator for the United Nations Global Compact’s Principles for Anti-Corruption Management Education (PRME) Working Group. In this capacity, he has helped shape ethics and anti-corruption curricula now used by business schools worldwide. Ronald has also designed and taught business ethics courses across the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia.

In 1995, he served on a committee of New York University’s Stern School of Business professors that designed and taught a new required course on ethics, governance, and professional responsibility. His work extends beyond the classroom, with service on international advisory boards focused on transparency, human rights, and sustainable development.

Driven by a deep belief in global citizenship and equitable opportunity, Ronald views his role at Children of Vietnam as a meaningful continuation of his professional and personal mission: to empower individuals and communities through education, integrity, and shared values.
